Norma E. Ellis

Norma E. Ellis Age 97 of Spring Hill, FL., passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, at AbsolutCare at Three Rivers, Painted Post, NY. She was born in Elmira, NY on January 2, 1925 the daughter of the late Earl C. and Mildred R. McInroy. Norma was the cafeteria manager at Pine City School for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Weeki Wachee Acres, Spring Hill, FL. Norma enjoyed playing cards, and has done many counted cross stitch Hummel pictures. She cherished her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and their summers at the cottage at Big Pond, PA. Norma is survived by her daughter, Carol Manchester of Wellsburg; sister, Donna Ruocco of Corning; sister-in-law, Janice McInroy of Anaheim, CA; grandchildren, Scott Manchester of Alden, NY, Kelli Steppe of Williamsport, PA, Dianna Rote of Mansfield, PA, Richard Ellis of Horseheads, NY; numerous great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Burton N. Ellis; son, Richard E. Ellis; grandson, David Aseline; brother, Ronald McInroy; sister, Charlotte Stump. Friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Penna. Ave., Elmira, NY on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with funeral and committal services there at 12:00 PM. Norma will be laid to rest by her beloved husband and son at Rural Home Cemetery, Big Flats, NY. at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church at Weeki Wachee Acres, 8092 Toucan Trail, Spring Hill, FL. 34606.
