Alma B. Dehaas

Age 77 of Troy, PA went to be with her Lord Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at Troy Community Hospital, Troy, PA. She is survived by her children: Richard (Karen) Benjamin of Pine City, NY, Gayle (Robert) Benjamin-Conley of Elmira, NY, Gary E. (Robin) Benjamin of Mansfield, PA, Judith (Jim Hanlon) Kent of Elmira, NY, Lori Lynn (Chris) Staudt of Troy, PA, Scott W. (Rachel) DeHaas of Pine City, NY; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces & nephews; sister, Florence Braund of Elmira Heights, NY, sister in-law, Patricia Benjamin of Elmira, NY; stepsons, Richard, James and John DeHaas. Her husband Richard DeHaas, and son Frank Benjamin, Jr. predeceased Alma.She was a member of the Austinville Union Church of Troy, PA and had attended the South Creek Evangelical Church.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Saturday, December 20, 2003 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there at the conclusion of calling hours (5:00 PM). The Rev. Kenneth Maple will officiate. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Mary?s Cemetery, Horseheads, NY.
