Alvin L. â??Al�? Moser

Of Wellsburg, NY, was born on January 17, 1916 in Elmira, NY, the son of the late George and Carrie (Stahlheber) Moser. He passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2006 in the Arnot Ogden Medical Center, at the age of 90. Al was predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Josephine T. Moser on January 8, 2006; his sister, Matilda Lohrki; and brothers, Henry, George, and Edwin Moser. His survivors include his beloved daughter,Carol Moser of Wellsburg, NY; sister-in-law, Mara Wolfe of Wetona, PA; along with several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Alvin was a member of the Chauffeurs & Teamsters Union Local No. 529.He retired from Spaulding Bakery Inc., formerly of Horseheads, NY, and in his spare time he enjoyed working in his garden. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, with Funeral Services honoring his life there at 2:00 PM. The Reverend Nettie Treat will celebrate Alvin?s service. Interment will take place in the Elmwood Cemetery, Caton, NY at a time convenient for his family.
