ANITA M. "Polly" BOUGHTON1932-2009Age 76 a life long member of the Gillett, PA community, passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 4, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elmira, NY. Her husband Jervis "Jervie" Boughton predeceased Anita in July of 2008. She is survived by her son, Jack (Beverly) Boughton of Gillett, PA, granddaughter; Patriece (Jason) Barnes of Elmira, NY, great grandson, Mason Barnes, brother, Darwin Miller of McDonough, GA, sister, Sally (Leon) Hall of Elmira, NY, sister in-law, Betty Miller of Elmira, NY, several nieces and nephews, also special friends Stub & June Austin of Gillett, PA, who were there when Anita needed them.Along with her husband her brother William Miller predeceased Anita. She was a member of the Gillett Baptist Church, Gillett, PA and taught Sunday School for several years.Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gillett Baptist Church, Route 14 South, Gillett, PA to celebrate Anita's life on Monday, March 9, 2009 at 3:00 PM. Funeral Service's honoring her life will be held there at 3:30 PM. The Reverend Allen Goss will conduct the celebration of Anita's life. Interment will be in Gillett Cemetery next to her loving husband Jervie.
