Anna M Vroman

Went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 24, 2008 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY after a long illness. She is predeceased by husband Max on January 3, 1996. Anna spent most of her life serving others. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Elmira, an avid Bowler, who loved to play Bingo and play cards with her friends. But most of all she was a wonderful housewife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She is survived by daughter, Barbara (Terry) Batrony of Elmira, NY, sons, Gary L (Barb) Vroman, of Auburn, NY, Paul Vroman of Elmira, NY and Max (Gail) Vroman Jr. of Plymouth, NY. 11 grandchildren,9 great grandchildren. Brothers, Paul Route of Ralston, PA, and Gordon Route of Roaring Branch, PA also several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, on Monday January 28, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with Funeral and Committal service there Monday at 8:00 PM, Pastor John McConnell of Southside Alliance Church presiding. A private committal will take place on Tuesday in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Elmira, NY
