Was born December 25, 1919 in Lopez, PA the daughter of the late Samuel and Anna (McCobin) Slaviak (Dennis), passed away unexpectedly December 13, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital. A resident of Robinson Street, Anne would have celebrated her 90th birthday on Christmas Day. Anne married Andrew M. Kotch on August 14, 1947 in Dushore, PA, prior to his passing December 6, 2002, they celebrated 56 wonderful years of life and love together. Her siblings, George, Frank, Andrew, Paul, John and Helen also preceded Anne in death. Her loving son and daughter survive her, John M. (Karen) Kotch and Deborah A. (James) King; along with 5 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Anne will be remembered by her family and friends alike as an extremely generous and giving person. She dedicated her entire life to raising and nurturing her family. Although tiny in stature, she possessed the hugest of hearts; she will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. A Memorial Service honoring her life will follow the visitation. (2 PM) The Reverend Jason Kappanadze will celebrate Anne's services. She will be laid to rest with her beloved Andrew in the Woodlawn National Cemetery privately at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Meals on Wheels 150 Fox Street Elmira, NY 14901.
