Age 55, of Millerton, PA, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2004 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elmira, NY.He was predeceased by his father, Robert Earl Congdon.He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Rita; sons, Arthur, Rob, Joe, and Shawn; mother, Elizabeth Congdon; brother, Bill Congdon; sister, Debbie Glose; 2 granddaughters; several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.AJ served in the US Marine Corps during the VietnamWar and was a lifetime member of the South Creek Volunteer Fire Dept.He was a member of the Jackson Center United Methodist Church, enjoyed working with the kids by volunteering for high school sports, and was an avid hunter and horseman. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, July 5, 2004 from 5 to 7 PM at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY.A graveside funeral service will be in Jackson Center Cemetery, Jackson Center, PA at 1 PM on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 with Rev.
