Arthur J. â??Art�? Decker

Born December 30, 1932 in Troy Hill, PA, the son of the late Louis and Eliza (Woodworth) Decker, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2006 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center at the age of 73. ?Art?, as he was affectionately known, was also predeceased by his sisters, Shirley Decker, Edith Tongue, Mildred Johnson, Helen Robinson, and Dorothy Hoyles; brothers, John Decker, Howard Decker, and most recently, Edward Decker. He is survived by his loving sister, Marian Decker, with whom he resided and who also took such wonderful care of him; brother, Louis Decker of Gillett, PA; along with several nieces, nephews, and many friends. ?Art? was employed for many years at General Electric and Kennedy Valve as a security guard for many dedicated years. He was very particular about his car and always made sure it was maintained to the fullest.Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Thursday, January 19, 2006 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. His funeral services will be held there following the visitation. (3:00 PM) The Reverend Charles Root will officiate.
