Belvy C. White

Was born February 15, 1921 in Justus, PA the son of the late Paul and Bessie White, was ushered home to be with his Lord on Monday, May 12, 2014. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Alma Rose White; brother and sister-in-law, Ivan and Grace White; brother-in-law, Reverend John Bedzyk. His survivors include: sister, Roberta Bedzyk of Elmira, NY; daughter, Esther White of Pleasant Hall, PA; son, Paul J. White of Neelyton, PA; along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and church families. He is also survived by his wife, Eleanor and her children with their children. Reverend White ministered to the following congregations throughout his life: Fair Ridge Assembly of God in Shade Gap, PA, Evangel Assembly of God in McConnellsburg, PA and the Elmira Christian Center in Elmira, NY. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2014 in the Fair Ridge Cemetery in Shade Gap, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Gideon Bibles or to Elmira Christian Center.
