Bertha H. Butler

Age 81, Of Elmira Heights, NY, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center.She was predeceased by her husband, Glenn W. Butler, Sr.; daughter, Marjorie (Ann) Butler; 6 sisters and one brother.Bertha is survived by sons, Richard (Rhonda) Peterson of North Carolina; Mike (Rene) Butler of Elmira; Scott (Tammy) Butler of Elmira Heights; and Glenn W. Butler, Jr. of Elmira; daughters, Mary Butler of Elmira; and Rebecca Butler of Elmira Heights; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Bertha was a United States Navy Veteran of WW II.She loved doing crossword puzzles, crocheting, and reading, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira on Friday, October 28, 2005 from 4 to 5 PM, with Funeral and Committal there at 5 PM.Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
