Bethaldo V. Wright

Wright, Bethaldo V. “Toots” age 103 of Dundee, NY formerly of Roseville, PA, passed away January 13th, 2016 at the Soldiers and Sailors Hospital of Penn Yan, NY. Toots was born in Rutland Township, PA, the daughter of the late Nathan and Libbie (Brown) Chamberlain. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband: Lewis in 1985; son: William; daughter: Libbie; and son: Nathan. Surviving her are her children: Harold (Marie) Wright of Dundee, NY, Jack Wright of Millerton, PA, Thomas (Johnnie Lou) Wright of Florence, SC; daughter in law: Marie Wright (Nathan’s widow) of Dundee, NY; along with adopted son: Wilford (Nancy) Heater of Roseville, NY; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces and dear friends. She was a homemaker most of her life, which included working with her husband in the dairy barn and sawmill on the property. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY on Monday, January 18th, 2016 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. Funeral services celebrating Toot’s life will follow at 3:00PM. Graveside services will remain private in Watson Cemetery, Roseville, PA.
