Age 81, passed peacefully away to her next life at home on Thursday, July 24, 2003 after a battle with lung cancer.Betty was predeceased by her husband, Raymond John Gimbarski, and son Raymond Gerald Gimbarski in 1997, and by her mother Marie Hough in 1976.She is survived by her son; Mark Allen Gimbarski, sister-in-law; Betty Hough of Hammondsport, NY, daughter-in-law Susan Gustin Gimbarski of Exton, PA, brother; Emery Hough of Wayne, NY, sisters; Carol King and Wanda Russell of Dallas, TX, Lois Conklin of Longview, TX, and Arlene Supulver of Moreno Valley, CA.Betty was a communicant of St. Mary?s Church on Elmira?s Southside, and worked for five years as an inspector in the war department of Remington Rand.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, on Monday, July 28, 2003 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Services immediately following (8:00 PM). Deacon Robert Stowell will officiate.Interment at St. Peter & Paul?s Cemetery on Tuesday, July 29, 2003 at 9:30 AM.In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Betty?s name to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, the Artic League, the Salvation Army or the charity of your choice.
