Betty Jane Martin

Betty Jane Martin Age 93, was born January 18, 1924 in Cumru, PA and passed away peacefully on Monday, May 29, 2017 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. Her mother, Amelia (Kowalski) Buniski, brother, John Buniski, sister, Amelia Horning, brother-in-laws, Eugene Musser and Earl Musser preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving and devoted children: Richard (Dorothy) Martin of Chemung, NY; Sherry (Robert) Leupelt; Randy Martin; Dennis (Lori) Martin; Danny Martin; all of Elmira, NY; Terry (Janet) Martin of Breesport, NY; grandchildren: Mark; Richard (Sonia), Kelly (George) and Heather; Kohdy; Danielle, Kayleigh and Wyatt; Chad and Dakota; great grandchildren: Tieler and Madison; Raistlin, Kyle and Dominic; George Jr. and Cole; Bailey and Kaelyn; great great grandchildren: Hayleigh and Vanessa; sisters, Dorothy Musser of Ephrata, PA; Marlene Musser of Mohnton, PA; brother, Ronald (Nancy) Buniski of Mohnton, PA; along with several nieces, nephews and host of friends. For many years Betty Jane was a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts. She had a tremendous love for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and had a big heart full of love for others as well. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Funeral Services honoring her life will follow the visitation at 6pm. Reverend Richard Hubbard will officiate. Interment will take place on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in the Woodlawn National Cemetery at 11 am. Memorial donations may be directed to a charity of one's choice. Thank You.
