Betty Rose

Age 84 of Elmira, NY passed away on Saturday July 3, 2010 after a brief illness at St. Joseph's Hospital. Elmira, NY. She is survived by children, Sandra (Robert) Carson of Horseheads, NY, Paul (Pat) Rose Jr. Beaver Dams, NY, Joan (James) Crain of Horseheads, NY, Joyce Coots of Horseheads, NY, Carl (Ellen) Rose of Chittenango, NY, 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her Infant daughter, Sharon, parents Carl and Olive (Pierce) Hager, and brother Donald Hager. Betty was a member, deacon and elder at Westminster Presbyterian Church of Elmira, Retired Unit Clerk from Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She enjoyed spending time with her chidren, grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially attending their sporting events. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira/Southport on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there at 6:00 PM the Reverend Jane Winters will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY at the convenience of the family.
