Betty Jane Vandermark

Age 76, formerly of Elmira, NY, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2003 in Destin, FL.Betty moved to Destin in 1974 following the death of her husband, Arthur, in 1972.She operated several housekeeping agencies in San Destin, Florida over the years, and at the age of 75, she took on the management of several storage units.She was a member of the Faith Assembly Church in Florida, and had been a member of the Elmira Wesleyan Church while she lived in Elmira.Betty enjoyed her lawn work and growing beautiful flowers.She is survived by her daughters, Arthelia Tackett of Niceville, FL; Suzan and Lawrence Wheeler of Alpine, AL; Annette and Rick Castle of Enid, OK; her son, Brian Vandermark of Destin, FL; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY 14904 on Thursday, September 18, 2003 from 7 to 9 PM.Funeral services will be held there Friday at 10 AM, with Rev.
