Beverly Ann Allen

July 12, 1944 — December 24, 2014

Allen, Beverly Ann “Tootie”age 70 of Pine City, NY passed away very unexpectedly at home. Surrounded by the love of her husband of 21 years Warren. She was born in Elmira, NY, July 12th, 1944. The daughter of the late Edward and Myrtle (Callahan) Ayres. In addition to her husband Warren she is survived by Children; Daughter Kelleane Hope (Tina) Rice, Son: Shane (Shanda) Benjamin-Herchanik , April (Tony) Spencer all of Elmira; 5 grandchildren that she loved and enjoyed, Sheyden, Zane, Tony, Sierra, Nick; 5 brothers: Michael, Tim, Terry, Teddy, and Todd, along with several nieces and nephews. Tootie loved and cherished her children and grandchildren. She found her peace in gardening and watching it bloom with life. She loved fishing and had a profound interest in the St. Lawrence Seaway and the many family fishing trips she had taken. She was very active in the Bethany Lutheran Church, serving in the bell choir. Tootie lived to have family get togethers, wine tastings, bonfires, canning, baking cookies and decorating for the holidays. The family will be receiving friends and family at Bethany Lutheran Church, 256 S. Walnut St., Elmira, NY 14904 on Friday, January 16th, 2015from 4:00 - 5:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 5 PM. Pastor Krista Mendoza will officiate. A Reception will follow the services.In lieu of flowers please make memorials in Beverly “Tootie” Allen to the Falck Cancer Center.
