Beverly M. DahlhausAge 87Passed away on December 8, 2011 in Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. Beverly was born on November 8, 1924, daughter of the late John J. Horton and Hazel M. (Coveney) Horton. She is predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Jack H. Dahlhaus of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. She is survived by her daughter, Kay (Paul) Moyer of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee; her son, Charles (Phyllis) Dahlhaus, of Breesport, New York; grandchildren, Robert (Cori) Moyer of Getzville, New York; Jack (Rachael) Moyer of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; Michelle (John) Adams of Petoskey, Michigan; Brent (Tracey) Dahlhaus, of Medina, New York and 11 great-grandchildren.Beverly was a member of the Fairfield Glade Community Church, a former member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Elmira, New York and Starkey United Methodist Church, Starkey, New York. Beverly retired from the Corning Credit Union and had also worked at X-Cel Dairy.Flowers will be provided by the family. In lieu of flowers, those wishing, may remember Beverly through donations to the Cumberland County Playhouse, 221 Tennessee Ave., Crossville, Tennessee 38555 or Meals on Wheels, 150 Fox Street, Elmira, New York 14901. Beverly was a faithful Craft Table volunteer for the Playhouse, and also a dedicated volunteer, along with Jack, for Meals on Wheels prior to moving to Tennessee in 2007.Calling hours will be on Saturday January 7, 2012 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Olthof Funeral Home,Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira/Southport,New York, followed by a prayer service officiated by Pastor Michael Weeden of New Beginnings United Methodist, Elmira, NY.Interment will be at Breesport Hilltop Cemetery, Breesport, New York, at the convenience of the family.
