Blanche "Tiny" (Crawford) Briggs NEE Makinster Age 83, of Gillett Pa, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday,February 24, 2009 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She is survived by husband, Alden James Briggs, daughter, Blanche (Boe) Shock, sons, Lee (Pam) Crawford, Roy (Shani) Crawford, Les (Chris) Crawford, daughter, Rhonda (Art) Putnum, Stepson Robert (Judy) Briggs. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter and son in-law, Sharon and Bernie Stansfield, 3 sisters and one brother.Member of South Creek Evangelical Free Church, Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. Blanche enjoyed playing guitar and singing, she was an excellent cook, and had a great sense of humor. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Saturday February 28, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM with Funeral and Committal there at 4:00 PM, Pastor Bryan Kain will officiate.
