Bruce E. Dailey

Passed away peacefully on Monday, May 6, 2013 at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital in Wellsboro, PA. Bruce is survived by his daughters, Colleen (Lynn) Friends of Millerton, PA; and their children, Christopher (Kelly) and their daughter, Carolina; Andrew (Jessica) and Aaron; Anne (Gary) Grechanik of Malrerne, NY; and their son, Alex; Susan (John) Friel of Rockville, MD; and their children, Katherine and Thomas; beloved sister, Dolores (Leo) Parchesky of Millerton, PA; along with several nieces, nephews and devoted friends. His loving wife, Patricia, parents, Louise and Harry preceded him in death. Bruce was a longtime parishioner of Eastside Catholic Parishes. He was a proud Korean War Veteran. He was also a longtime employee of Sears in Elmira and an avid Chicago White Sox fan. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013 in St. Peter & Paul's Church on Market Street at 10:30 AM. Reverend Rick Farrell will celebrate Bruce's Mass. Interment will follow in Woodlawn National Cemetery.
