Age 66, of Horseheads, NY, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at home. He was born in Johnstown, Pa, the son of the late Eva and Douglas Mosteller. He was an insurance broker in Elmira for over 40 years, most recently with the Tri-Town Agency. He was honorably discharged from the Army National Guard. An avid golfer, Bruce was a long standing member of the Mark Twain Golf Course. A power house on the tee, he was well known throughout the area for his golf talents and accomplishments. A standout youth baseball player, he had a great love for all sports. Above all, Bruce was a dedicated family man who enjoyed supporting his grandchildren's sports and socializing with friends and family. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jo-Ann of Horseheads; his daughterMary (Brian) of Elmira Heights; his son Michael (Alicia) of Florida; his dear grandchildren Declan, Gavin, Liam, Cody, Marisa and MacKenzie; his brother Richard (Barbara) of Maryland; 4 nephews, a niece, a great-niece and great-nephew. Friends and family are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira/Southport on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 10 am to 1 pm with funeral and committal services at the conclusion of calling hours. Meredith Tifft will officiate. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
