Carl E. Bailey

Carl E. Bailey Age 68 of Horseheads, NY went to be with the Lord on Friday January 16, 2009, in Rushville, PA, He is survived by his loving wife, Pat Bailey, daughters, Crystal L. (Donnie) Bolt, Brenda Stefanowich, Jill (Greg) Dorie, son Jon (Beth) Bailey,Grandchildren, Rose, D.J., Emma, Aaron, and Nick, brothers, William Bailey and Lee Bailey, very close brothers in-law and sisters in-law, Calvin (Johannah) Ford, Jr., sisters in-law, Cathy Ford, Zella Ann Redeye, and Florence Bailey aunt, Helen Becraft, special aunt, Charlotte Billings, several nieces and nephews. Carl was predeceased by his parents, William and Madeline (Becraft) Bailey, brother, Robert, sister Marguerite, and brother-in-law John Ford. He attended Pennsylvania Avenue United Methodist Church; he retired from Kennedy Valve Manufacturing, Elmira, after 40 years of service. He spent his retirement with family and friends and especially enjoyed the times he spent at the cabin, were he was affectionately known as "Uncle Carl". He was always there when you needed him. Carl loved the Lord and his family; he will be greatly missed by many friends and family. The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 20, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport. Followed by a Funeral and Committal Service there Tuesday evening at 8:00 PM, Pastor William Vallet will officiate. Interment will be held in Rushville Cemetery, Rushville, PA at the convenience of the family.
