Carl W. Potter

Age 64 of Standish Street Elmira, NY passed away May 8, 2003 very unexpectedly at home. He was born September 14, 1938 in Blossburg, PA the son of the late Delbert and Mabel (Quackenbush) Potter. Carl was preceded in death by his sisters, Arlene Rice and Norma Myers. He is survived by his loving friend and companion, Shirley Lapinsky of Millport, NY; twin daughters, Carla and Victoria; brother, Paul Potter of Washington; sister, Pauline Travis of Fisherville, NY; along with several nieces and nephews. Carl was employed for several years with Steel Doors of Elmira, NY. He was a patron of the neighborhood bar on the corner of Washington Ave. and Oak Street and was a member of the Eagles Club # 941 Elmira, NY. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Thursday, May 15, 2003 from 6 to 7 PM.
