Carla J. Mcgonigal

Age57 of Pine City, NYpassed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, August 19, 2004.She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Robert L. McGonigal of Pine City; son, Robert B. (Kim) McGonigal, and daughter, Karen S. (Michael Kelsall) McGonigal, both of Pine City; grandchildren, Matthew R.and Meghan E. McGonigal, Jessica Taft, and Brandon Weiland; parents,George and Vera Kelly Bruce; brother, James (Gale) Bruce of Troy, PA; sister, Sharon (Clyde) Castle of Fassett, PA; mother and father-in-law, James and Anne McGonigal of Pine City; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law.Carla was a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother, who lived her life for her family.She was a secretary for the Pine City Veterinary Clinic for over 20 years, and belonged to the Webb Mills Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary in Troy, PA, and the Troy Veterans Club Home Association.She was a licensed beautician, an active outdoors person, and liked clogging, traveling out West, and spending time with her grandchildren.Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Sunday, August 22, 2004 from 1 to 3 PM and 6 to 8 PM.Funeral and committal services will be held immediately following the visitation at 8 PM, with the Rev.
