Carla M. Urbaniak

Carla M. Urbaniak Age 71, was born August 14, 1945 in Shell, WY the daughter of the late Wilbur and Amanda (Dragher) Strube, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 3, 2017. Her beloved husband of 16 years, David A. Urbaniak Sr. preceded her in death in 1991. She is survived by her loving children: Patrick Austin of Walkerton, IN; David (Heather) Austin of Elmira, NY; Monica (Jimmy) Marshall of Wellsburg, NY; Jerri Ann Ghea-Lee of Washington state; David (Tara) Urbaniak Jr. of Camel, IN; Shawn Urbaniak of Elmira, NY; Brett Urbaniak also of Elmira; along with 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; siblings: Victor (Victoria) Strube, Delores Hugg and Kenny Strube all of Wyoming; and many nieces and nephews. Carla retired from the Chemung County Nursing Facility as a dietician after 26 years of dedicated service. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral services honoring her life will be held there on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 10:00 am. Pastor Laurie Greenlaw will officiate. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn National Cemetery where Carla will be laid to rest with her beloved David.
