Age 61 of Elmira, NY. Carolwent to heaven to be with her loving mother Jane and brother John on July 1, 2010 at Chemung County Nursing Facility. Survived by loving family husband George Campbell, daughter Kimberly Campbell, and granddaughter Casey Campbell; father John Dombroski Jr. and wife Darlene Hansford, sisters Josephine (Dombroski) Arnold, Dorothy (Dombroski) Ham, brother Richard Dombroski, sister in-law, Esther Huntington, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. Predeceased by mother, Evelyn Jane (Butler) Dombroski and brother John Dombroski, III. A graduate of Southside High School class 1967, Carol was a retired Secretary for many local businesses. She enjoyed camping, the great outdoors, and country music. Carol and her husband George enjoyed the Loyal order of Moose and the American Legion. After George retired, he and Carol enjoyed traveling and camping trips. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, on Tuesday July 6, 2010 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM with Funeral Service there Tuesday at 2:00 PM, Deacon George Welch officiating. Followed by graveside service at Riverside Cemetery, Lowman, NY. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of the sixth floor at Chemung County Nursing Facility for their loving and attentive care given to Carol during her stay.
