Catherine Helen Felker

Felker, Catherine Helen age 60 of Elmira, NY passed away Tuesday, February 21st, 2017 at the Corning Hospital. Catherine was born in Elmira, June 29, 1956. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Patricia (Close) Mills. Surviving Catherine is her loving daughters: Amy Felker of Elmira and Tara Felker of Virginia; 2 granddaughters: Logan and Lydia Felker; sister: Patricia Mills; brother: David (Sheila) Mills; and several nieces and nephews. Catherine graduated from the St. Joseph’s School of Nursing. Along with working and retiring from the Department of Corrections, she carried many roles in nursing operations in St. Joseph’s Hospital. Cathy adored her daughter and granddaughters. They were her world. She enjoyed traveling, the beach, and the many friends she made. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY on Friday, February 24th, 2017 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at the conclusion of the calling hours at 7:00PM. Reverend John DeSocio will officiate. Graveside services will remain private in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
