Celia M. Kokoszka

Age 91 of Elmira, NY and formerly of Niagara Falls, NY was called home to God on June 28, 2011 after a brief illness.Celia was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Rataj) Szydlowski. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph, step-son; Walter, brothers; Joseph (Joe), Leon (Leo), Chester Szydlowski and sister; Bernice (Berts) Bulka. Celia is survived by her daughter and son in law; Catherine (Cathy) and Lauren (Larry) Campbell (with whom she resided), granddaughter; Brenda (Mosolf) Edwards, great grandchildren; Anthony Mosolf, William Edwards and Anastasia Edwards, special niece; Marie Bieksza along with several nieces and nephews.She is also survived by her "special family"; Andrew (Andy) and Holly Campbell and their children, Benjamin and Alex. Celia was very much loved by her family and enjoyed spending time with them.Her great grandchildren kept her young, while she gave them a different perspective of life.She was avid reader, had extraordinary fashion sense, enjoyed "Big Band" music, going for rides and ice cream with her little Missy.She was a great Buffalo Sabres fan and never missed a televised game. On Saturday July 9, 2011 at 10:00 am, family and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at Divine Mercy Parish (the former St. Stanislaus Kostka - St. Stan's) at 2437 Niagara Street, Niagara Falls, NY, Reverend Jacek Mazur officiating.Interment will take place at Holy Trinity Cemetery.Many thanks to the staff at Olthof Funeral Home, Elmira, NY for their kindness and assistance.
