Was born January 27, 1937 in Ridgebury, PA the son of the late Coy J. and Nellie M. (Norris) Silver, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at the Robert Packer Hospital after fighting a courageous battle. He was predeceased by his siblings, Coy J. (Christina) Silvers Jr., Opal L. Silver, Billie J. Silver, Hugh Silver, Gerald R. Silver, Ernie A. Silver and Darlene A. Silver; nephew, James D. Warfe; niece, Heather R. Silver. He is survived by his loving wife, Gail; nieces and nephews: Gary Silvers, Roy (Diane) Silvers; S. Donald Warfe, Morgan (David) Lindsay; Tonia Lovelace (Doug) Poss, Ranakay (Gerald) Bennett; John K. Silver, Jeremy Silver; Stefanie Holton, Linsey Holton; also survived by great nieces and great nephews that were special to Chad: Raeonna Tiede, Gerald Bennett, Brynn Bennett, Jenrie Bennett, Nellie Bennett, Kilynn Bennett, Solomon Bennett, BreAriel Bennett, Heather Silver and John Silver along with many other great nieces and great nephews and special friends, Jimmy Heverly, Kenneth Congdon and Stewart Wood. Chad was the President of Carriage Estates on Lower Maple Avenue. He owned and operated Silver Tree Service and was known by many as the "Tree Doctor". He was an avid race fan, racing his stock cars at many local tracks, including his own race track, "Silver Speedway", where he raced by the title of "Quick Silver". Chad enjoyed a good game of Poker, usually everyFriday, and was known by all he played with as the "Poker King". Funeral services honoring Chad's life will follow the visitation at 6 PM. Lay Pastor John P. Knapp will celebrate his service.
