Charles M. Dobbs,

Age 90 of Elmira, NY, passed away on Wednesday December 19, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He is survived by children, William F. (Marilyn) Dobbs, Charles M. (Theresa L.) Dobbs, Jr., and Sharon L. (Joseph)McNaney, grandchildren, Heather(Adam) Mingos,Jon (Jessica) Dobbs, William Dobbs II, TaylorE. Dobbs, Emily L. Dobbs, Nicole L. Freas, Jeremy J. (Judy) Freas, and Kari L. McNaney ; great grandchildren, Veronica, Hunter, Melanie , Alexis , Alex, Jeremy Jr., Angelica, and Alyssa. Charles was a member of the NYS Magistrate's Association, a United States Army Air Corp Veteran of WW II, having served in the 381st. Bomb Group, member of the Elmira Heights American Legion Post # 154, the Big Flats Historical Society and President of the Southern Tier Chapter of Former New York State Troopers Association.Family will receive friends at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira/Southport, on Thursday December 27, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there at 8:00 PM Father Donald Mathews will officiate. With Graveside Service Friday at 10:30 AM in Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, NY with Military Honors.
