Charles Leonard Rhoades

Age 82, of Chestnut Street Elmira, NY went home peacefully to be with his Lord on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Pauline Buckley Rhoades; son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Judith Rhoades of Pine City, NY; along with 1 grandson and 3 great grandchildren. Charles was a Veteran of the US Air Force proudly serving his country from 1942-1946. He retired from American LaFrance after several years of dedicated service as a cost estimator. A Memorial Service celebrating Charles?s life will be held at a time convenient to his family and announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc.
