Charlotte L. Barnes

Was born February 18, 1920 the daughter of the late Samuel and Sarah (Osgood) Campbell passed away peacefully with family at her bed side on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Bradford County Manor at the age of 94. Her loving husband of 32 years, Melvin A. Barnes; sons, Richard and Michael Barnes; grandson, Jeffry B. Kellogg; great granddaughters, Charlotte L. Brant and Tia R. Brant; several brothers and sisters, preceded her in death. She is survived by her beloved children, Sharon (Kenneth) Kellogg, Sue (Bob) Sterling, Jim (Karen) Perry and Wesley Perry; grandchildren, Michelle (Terry) Brant, Steve (Dana) Sterling, Sandi Sterling, Corey (Paula) Royce and Brittany (Isaiah) Harrison; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Georgia Cornell; along with several nieces and nephews. Charlotte was a faithful member of the Millerton Wesleyan Church and will be missed by her church family as well. She will be remembered by all for her handiwork: knitting, crocheting and her quilts. Family and friends are invited to call at the Millerton Wesleyan Church 5174 Main Street Millerton, PA 16936 on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 7 PM. Reverend Laurie Greenlaw will officiate. Interment will take place at the convenience of her family in Woodlawn Cemetery.
