Cheryle L.

Age 48 passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2006 unexpectedly. Cheryle resided in Millport, NY with her husband of 24 years, Dana Gee. She was the daughter of Kenneth and the late Barbara Sullivan Alexander and stepmother Donna Brown Alexander. She is survived by her only son, Bruce (Angela) Pipe Jr. of Greensboro, NC; sisters, Helen (Bruce) Davis, Donna (Tom) Thomas, Chris (Joe) Van Gorden, Barb (Dwayne) Bolt; brothers, Tiger (Diane) Alexander, John (Michelle) Alexander; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Dora, George and their children, William, Michael, Joan, Giorgio Jr., Jennie, Sharilyn; Holly and Wilbur, Sue and Norman, Ralph and Geraldine, Karen and Gene, Marcie, Sandy and Billy, Ted and Debbie, and Bruce Sr. Cheryle was employed at the Lakeside Nursing Home in Ithaca, NY for 22 years. She loved all of her co-workers and residents and considered them her extended family with special thoughts for Annie. She enjoyed camping, bowling and her beloved pets Katie, Lucky and Patches. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Saturday, March 4, 2006 from 11:00 to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Funeral Services honoring Cheryl?s life will be celebrated by the Reverend Melanie Cole-Beardslee following the visitation. (5:00 PM) Interment will take place privately in the Woodlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society 1316 College Ave. Elmira, NY 14901 or to the Lakeside Nursing Home 1229 Trumansburg Road Ithaca, NY 14850 in her memory.
