Christine Stewart

Christine Age 38, daughter of Leon and Nancy Husisian of Elmira, NY, passed away Friday, July 7th, after a two-year battle with cancer. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Mark Mrkus; her two children, Katelyn Stewart, 10, and Eric Stewart, 7; and her brothers, Gregory Husisian of Oakton, VA, and Jeffrey Husisian of Apalachin, NY. Christine was a 1985 graduate of Elmira Free Academy and a 1989 graduate of Cornell University. She lived for twelve years in Naples, Florida, where she worked as a graphic designer. She is the author of a book, Practical Truisms, and a web site, practicaltruisms.com, where her ongoing battle with cancer and her philosophies for coping with life's opportunities and adversities are described.
