McKlevis, Christopher J.8/20/1955-3/16/2015Born in Elmira, NY Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Madeline (Coe) McKlevis; stepmom, Anna McKlevis; brother Joseph; and brothers in law, Raymond Bellinger and Austin Thomas. Christopher is survived by his beloved wife, Wendy (Hulslander) McKlevis, whom he would have shared 35 years of marriage on 5/9/15; loving daughters, Jennifer and Erin McKlevis; granddaughter, Mya Raelynn McKlevis, who has his whole heart, she was his world; siblings, Mary Thomas, Patricia (Wes) Grist, Kathy Bellinger, Daniel (Cammy), Robert (Jeanette), Michael (Vickie); in laws, Raymond and Barbara Weiland, Glenn and Carol Hulslander; sister in law, Deanna (Wayne) Acly; brother in law, John (Stephanie) Hulslander; numerous nieces and nephews; special niece Kelley Bellinger, who in his final days helped keep him comfortable, thank you; and his loving canine campanion Spooki. Elmira Free Academy class of 1974.Proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1974-1977. He was a City of Elmira crossing guard and bartender for the Catholic War Veterans. He very much enjoyed all of the frendships he made while bartending and the patrons very much enjoyed him. "He is the fastest...most efficient bartender we have here tonight."
