Clair Melvin Dunlap

Age 86, of Mooresville, North Carolina, formerly of Riverside Ave., Elmira, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2004. Clair is survived by daughters; Barbara A. (Don) Sherrill of Mooresville, NC, Sharon L. Milford of Elmira, NY; son, David C. (Anne) Dunlap of McCool, MS; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.Also, Clair is survived by a sister, Arlene D. (Glenn) Paul of Athens, PA; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Rose Alice and his brother, Harry E. Dunlap. Clair was a veteran of the US Army, serving during WWII.He was a retiree of American LaFrance with 36 years of service. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira on Thursday, December 30, 2004 from 11am ? 1 pm with funeral services to follow (1:00 PM).Nephew Stephen L. Paul will be officiating.Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
