Clara B. Kilmer

Was born September 6, 1920 in Giulianello, Italy the daughter of the late Luigi and Altemira (Zampi) Moretti, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital at the age of 89. Her beloved daughter, Carol L. Perry, on July 30, 1992 predeceased her. She is survived by her loving husband with whom she spent 67 wonderful years of life and love with, Harold J. Kilmer; beloved son, Kirk L. Kilmer of Painted Post, NY; sisters, Inez McCauley of Niagara Falls, NY; Leona Moretti of Sayre, PA; much loved grandchildren, Craig (Rebecca) Perry, Curt Perry, Cristen (Mike) Kwiatkowski, Joseph Kilmer and Michael Kilmer; adored great grandchildren, Mitchell and Morgan Perry; along with several nieces and nephews. Clara was a former employee of the Remington Rand Corp. and retired from the A & P Company in Horseheads, NY after several years of dedicated service. Clara was a faithful communicant of St. Mary's Church. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. A Memorial Service honoring Clara's life will follow the visitation at 3 PM. The Reverend Jeffrey Tunicliff will celebrate her services. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of her family in the Woodlawn National Cemetery.
