Clio M Ryan

Age 80 a resident of Woodbrook, formerly of Marrow Field Avenue and the Southport community her whole life. Passed away Monday, January 21st, 2008 at the St. Josephs Hospital. Clio was the daughter of the late Carl and Esther Decker. She was predeceased by her husband Lewis in 1983. Surviving Clio are her children Linda and Dale Taft of Pine City; Kathleen and Gene Wheeler of Big Flats, Timothy and Donna Ryan of Lima, her 9 loving grandchildren Adam (Kim) Taft, Todd (Jennifer) Taft, Jared (Jessica) Taft, Abigail (Timothy) Doolittle, Mathew (Lori) Wheeler, Jeremy (Jennifer) Wheeler, Andrew Wheeler, Shannon Ryan (Bill Lewis), Kevin Ryan; and 9 cherished great grandchildren and a little ONE on the way; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband Clio is also predeceased by her sister Carline Marino. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY Friday, January 25th, 2008 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. Funeral and committal services will be held there at the conclusion of the calling hours at 3:00PM. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Clio enjoyed a lifetime at the Central Christian Church in Elmira with over 60 years of membership. She was a clerk for 27 years at all three of the Steele Memorial Library branches, An avid quilter, Heher joy in her life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
