Clyde E. Button,

Was born October 21, 1953 in Elmira the son of the late Clyde E. and Regina (Rukat) Button Sr. passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center at the age of 60. His father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leon G. and Mary Ellen (Golden) Cannon predeceased him. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Teresa(Cannon) Button; beloved daughters, Jeannette Button (Walter Hurst), Meghan (Button) & Mark Rose, Erica Button (Jammie Swayze); adored grandchildren, Kaelynn Button, Katrina Button; Jasmine Hurst; Jacob Rose, Natalie Rose and Nathan Rose; along with several other relatives, numerous friends and his special riding buddies. Clyde was a rural carrier with the US Postal Service for 25 + years. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Heritage Softail with his buddies whenever he could. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM and 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Funeral services honoring his life and celebrating his memory will be held there on Wednesday, April 16th at 11:00 AM. Father Edward Golden will officiate. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to a charity of one's choice in his memory.
