Colleen M. Kowulich

Colleen Marie Kowulich Age 61 of Elmira, NY passed away unexpectedly, at her home on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. Colleen was born March 12, 1957 in Elmira, to the late T. Frank Kowulich and Jennie Marcoccia (Kowulich) Gagliardi. In addition to her parents,Colleen was preceded in death by her brothers, Theodore and Joseph; sister-in-law, Janet Kowulich; and step-father, Paul Gagliardi. Colleen is survived by her brother, R. Michael Kowulich of Elmira, NY; sister-in-law, Sheila Van Laeken of Palmyra, NY; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Colleen was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, who had a special place in her heart for animals. She loved crosswords, and was whiz at trivia. Her beloved family and friends will miss her greatly. Family and friends are invited to an informal gathering on Saturday, March 16th at 11 am at St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery in Elmira, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Colleen's honor to the Chemung County Humane Society and SPCA, 2435 Route 352, Elmira, NY 14903.
