Cora B. Burgett

Formerly of South William Street, was born March 8, 1904 in Pottersdale, PA, the daughter of the late George and Josephine (McCauley) Rhone, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility at the age of 100. Her son, Robert T. Shearer in 1983 and daughter, Marian Gianneschi in 1997, predeceased her. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Archie Salbego of Elmira, NY; daughter-in-law, Philena Shearer of Pine City, NY; along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.She retired from the Remington Rand as a punch press operator after many years of faithful and dedicated service.Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Friday, December 17, 2004 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. Funeral Services celebrating Cora?s life will follow the visitation with Lay Pastor John P. Knapp officiating.
