Cynthia L. Scott

Cynthia "Cindi" (Thomas) Scott, 64, of Elmira, NY (Golden Glow) passed away on July 6, 2025, while surrounded by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by: her son Thomas Alexander Scott; her father Ivor Thomas; her nephew Jake Thomas; and her cousin Pete Frank.

She is survived by: her daughter Emily Suzanne Scott; her mother Elsie (Swanson) Thomas; her siblings - Michael Thomas and wife Pam, Patrick Thomas and wife Joanie, and Margie MacDonald and husband Rob; her nieces and nephews - Ben Thomas and wife Kacey, Patrick Thomas, Jonathan Thomas, and Andrew Thomas; and her cousins - Abby Frank, and Andi Frank and her daughter Alaura Hannan.

Cindi was the life of the party — her smile could brighten even the darkest day. She loved her family fiercely! She filled her home with crafts, food and laughter, and spoiled her kitties. She always found time to dig in the garden, and to appreciate the wildlife at home or to catch a sunset with her daughter.

She made everyone feel welcome, and was like a second mom to her children's friends. Her warmth and energy will be missed by all who knew her.
