Dale B. ShelleyAge 87 of Elmira, NY, crossed over on Sunday July 14, 2013 at Chemung County Nursing Facility. Dale is survived by his wife of 57 years Virginia M. Shelley; sister, Joyce (Carmen) Shelley Pagano; brother, Elmer (Jr.) (Arlene) Shelley, Richard (Mary) Shelley; Numerous nieces and nephews; special friends Harry Hartman, and Eileen Taluba Randolph; He was predeceased by his parents, Helen and ElmerShelley; sisters, Charlotte Shelley Barrows, and June Shelley Deats, brother, William “Bud” Shelley.He was a United States Army Veteran of WWII.Dale was Life member of the Masonic Lodge and Grotto. He was a Barber in Elmira for many years. Retired from Harding Corporation after many years of service. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira/Southport on Wednesday July 17, 2013 form 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with Funeral Service on Thursday at 11:00 AM in Bethany Lutheran Church, 256 South Walnut St., Elmira, Pastor Krista Mendoza will officiate.Followed by graveside service with military honors at Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY.
