Daniel T. Jenkins

Jenkins, Daniel T. Jr. Age 81 of Pine City, NY, passed away Wednesday, April 5th, 2017 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. He was born in Elmira, the 12th of May in 1935, to the late Daniel and Mary Ann (Pabis) Jenkins Sr. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Delores Merrick Jenkins; children: Venessa Cicora, Daniel T. (Marsha) Jenkins III, Richard (Barb) Jenkins, Virginia (George) Weikle, Dawn Jenkins, Pamela (Mike) DeRigge, Cindy Jenkins, Helen (John) McGough, Terry (Chris) Burley; 24 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; sisters: Gail (Earl) Lampman, Debra (David) Mosher; brother: Michael (Esther) Jenkins; and three best friends: Gary Woodard, Bill Pipher and Dave Ellis.Daniel retired from I. Putnam Manufacturing and later worked as a school crossing guard for Elmira for the last few years. He was a big NASCAR fan. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY on Thursday, April 13th, 2017 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM. Funeral services celebrating Dan’s life will follow the calling hours at 5:00PM. Reverend Father John DeSocio will officiate. Those wishing, please make memorials in Daniel T.
