Danny L. Mettler

Was born November 24, 1950 in Elmira, NY and passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital at the age of 62. His beloved son, Robert Francis Carl Mettler preceded him in death, He is survived by his loving wife, Susan L. (Holden) Mettler; step-son, Christopher Rumsey; parents: father, Francis Mettler; mother, Dorothy Stewart; sister, Debra Mettler; brother, Victor J. Mettler; along with several nieces and nephews. Dan was a hard worker and enjoyed painting, gardening and cookingin his free time. He was the president of the coffee hour at the Flannery Apartments where he resided. Family and friends are invited to gather at theFlannery Apartments 300 South Main Street Elmira, NY on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. A Memorial Service honoring Dan's life will follow the gathering at 4 PM with Reverend Richard Elliott celebrating his life.
