David R. Beach

Age 51 of Elmira, NY Passed away after putting up a good fight following a short illness on Sunday January 19, 2014 at home surround by his family.He is survived by his companion, Carol Zaumseil; daughters, Toni Beach, and Dakota Beach; sisters Linda (David) Cole, Barbara Beach and Nancy Beach. Several nieces and nephews. And his constant companions, “Buster” and “Ella”Predeceased by his parents Raymond and Norma Beach. David was a United States Army Veteran. Loved music, playing Guitar and, updating home interiors. Avid NY Yankee, Buffalo Bills Fan and was a long time basketball player. David also enjoyed camping with his family, bird watching and fishing. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Thursday January 23, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there at the conclusion of calling hours Thursday at 7:00 PM. Pastor Meredith Tifft will officiate. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Horseheads, NY at the convenience of the family with Military Honors.
