David E. Hall

David E. Hall Sr. Was born May 20, 1921 in Lacrosse, WI the son of the late Frank and Marion (Chaffee) Hall, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the age of 95. His sisters: Lillian Lang, Doris Sokolik and Laura Knobloch; brother: Gilbert Hall; and wife: Virginia Hall preceded him in death. Dave is survived by his beloved children: son, David E. Hall Jr.; daughters: Diana (Debbie) Hall-Chrispell and Debra (Michael) Willsey; mother of his children, Margaret Carney; granddaughters: Kelli Arcovio (Kyle Easling), Katie (Stephen) Ruggiano, Autumn Johnston (David Lawrence) and Christina Willsey; great grandchildren: Seth Farrell, Stephen, Ruggiano, Joslynn Easling and Teagan Easling; sister-in-law, Shirley Lehmann; along with several nieces and nephews. Dave was a Veteran of the US Navy, proudly serving his country on the USS Rolla (PC-483) Radioman 3rd Class. He was a member of the Elmira Christian Center and drove Sunday School bus for over 40 years. He also volunteered as a senior companion with the Fingerlakes DDSO. Family and friends are invited to call at the Elmira Christian Center, 235 E. Miller Street, Elmira on Monday, November 21, 2016 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Funeral services honoring his life will follow the visitation at 6 pm. Lay Pastor John P. Knapp will officiate.
