David Jennings

David Leonard Jennings Devoted friend to many. Age 52, of Millerton, PA. Passed away very unexpectedly in Greensboro, NC Monday, July 6th, 2009.David was the son of LeVerne and Jane Martin Jennings of Millerton. He was born in Troy, PA on September 5th, 1956. Surviving are his loving parents LeVerne and Jane Jennings, Sons: Michael and Aaron, and 2 grandsons; Sisters Deborah (Adrian) Widden of CA, Dawn Marie Jennings Norris of MD; Brothers: Douglas (Kathy) Jennings of CA, Duane Russell (Dorisanne) Jennings of IN, Daniel Thomas Jennings (Kim) of MD. Loving aunts and uncles: Pauline and Gordon Martin and Leah Mae and Don Jennings along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. David will also be dearly missed by many loving and caring friends he considered family. He will best be remembered as a hard worker, whom could fix anything and everything. He never walked away from a job if it was not done the right way. He loved to scrap metal. He always had a load ready for the scrap yard. He carried a "Happy-go lucky", approachable nature that everyone loved. He was always willing to help anyone and everyone.David was an employee for many years for Steve Hess and Hess Excavation Co. located in Daggett, PA and also NC and was a past member of the Big Elm Volunteer Fire Department. Memorial services celebrating David Leonard Jennings life will be August 15, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue Elmira, NY. Pastor Jennifer Wolfe officating.
