David Leigh Shaw

Age 88, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2003 at the home of his son where he was being loved and cared for. He was born March 2, 1915 in Mansfield, PA the son of the late Edward Allen and Teresa (Witherow) Shaw. His son, Edward Shaw, also preceded him in death.David married Juliette O. Fish July 19, 1942. This coming Saturday would have marked 61 wonderful years of love and life together. Along with his loving wife, Juliette ?Judy?, his survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Kathy Shaw of Elmira, NY; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Edward Seelye of Tioga, PA; grandchildren, Teresa Shaw, Patti (Mike) Root, Kelly (Michael) Burt, Michael Shaw and Elaine Seelye; great grandchildren, Joshua and Nicholas Root; Kaleb, Noah and Jonah Burt; Christopher and Kyle Shaw; along with several nieces, nephews and long-time friend, Frank Shieve of Elmira, NY. David retired from LeValley - McCloud after 44 years of faithful and dedicated service in the credit department. He was a Veteran of the US Army proudly serving his country during WW II. At his request there will be no prior calling hours. Graveside services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Elmira, NY.
