David A. Shope

David Allen Shope Age 63 of Mount Zoar St. Elmira, NY. Went to be with his Lord on June 12, 2009 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY. He was born August 29, 1945, son of the late Robert and Dorothy Sempler Shope.David is survived by his brothers, Dale (Nancy) Shope, Jim (Cheryl) Shope and Ronald Shope, also several close nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Gary and sister, Ruth Ann. David was a retired employee of Westinghouse and Eaton Corporations with 41 years of service. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport on Monday June 15, 2009 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with Funeral and Committal Service there Monday evening at 7:00 PM. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Those wishing may make memorials to the American Heart Association; envelopes will be available at the funeral home. "Leave a loving legacy."
