Davidis survived by his devoted wife, Betty J. (Fusare) Titus; sons, David Scott Titus of Elmira, NY and Christopher Leonard Titus of Steamboat Springs, CO; and his much loved dog “Kramer”. He is also survived by his sister, Margaret Ritter of Montour Falls, NY; close cousins, Donald and Mary Brasted, of Bay Village, OH; loving family members, friends and his wonderful Durland Ave. Neighbors. David Titus retired as a Facilities Design Engineer at Trayer Products after 28 years of dedicated service. Dave enjoyed many summers at the cottage his Grandfather and Father built beside Hector Falls on Seneca Lake. He had such fond memories of times spent there with his cousins Don and Jim Brasted, and Grandma and Grandpa Titus. Having grandparents who lived on Franklin St. in Watkins Glen sparked his interest in auto racing and sports cars. He owned many cars throughout his life; one of his favorites being a vintage Jaquar. He was a pencil and ink artist, painter of beautiful landscapes and an excellent photographer. Dave was also inspired by the music of Duke Ellington & Count Basie and was a drummer in a high school dance band. He also enjoyed doing projects around the house, and really loved the years he spent in Indian Guides with Scott and Chris when they were boys.Born with a serious heart defect, David spent much of his life fighting heart disease, and his courage and strength are and inspiration to us all. He was a proud member of the E.F.A. Class of “57” and a graduate of Penn State. He followed the Nittany Lions and his beloved Green Bay Packers. Most of all he was an amazing husband and father.Dave’s family would like to thank all the people he met through Hospice’s LifeBeat Program.
